With its modern, unique look and high level of functionality, the Puez Powertex Hybrid Jacket has been designed for exploration tours all over the world. From classic mountain hikes to multi-day desert treks - thanks to the waterproof and breathable material properties, the jacket will accompany you in any terrain and in all weather conditions. And when not in use, the jacket can be stowed away compactly in its own integrated zippered side pocket. In the Puez Powertex Hybrid Jacket, we use two different versions of Salewa's proven, laminated and weatherproof Powertex® fabric: Salewa's three-layer Powertex® ripstop is used on the upper body for comprehensive weather protection and durability. The other areas are protected by a lighter, compact 2.5-layer-Powertext®-Ripstop fabric. Both materials have a water column of 10,000 millimetres. The water column describes the pressure required for water to penetrate the fabric. Both Powertex fabrics also impress in terms of breathability: at 10,000 g/m2/24h, the material remains breathable even during strenuous ascents. In addition, the seams are fully taped and the front zipper is waterproof. For optimum ventilation - even when closed - the jacket has additional press studs in the front. The two side pockets, each with separate compartments, offer plenty of storage options: the upper compartments can be closed with a press stud, while the side compartments have a zipper for secure storage of valuables. Other features such as the adjustable, close-fitting hood, the underarmventilation zippers and the adjustable cuffs and hem make the Puez Powertex Hybrid Jacket the ideal weatherproof trekking companion. The jacket is part of the Salewa Committed collection, whose products are manufactured according to our additional environmental and sustainability standards in order to leave the smallest possible ecological footprint. Both materials used are made from 100% recycled polyester and are treated with a durable water repellent (DWR)(durable water repellent) finish that is PFC-free. The aesthetic, weatherproof trekking jacket, which can be stowed away in its integrated pannier, impresses with its function and design - and belongs on every trekking tour.
