Developed with mountain guides, the Ortles 3L Powertex pant is a waterproof, breathable solution for challenging conditions and exposed situations. The Ortles 3-layer pants are made from our patented 3-layer Powertex weather protection fabric and offer you a balanced combination of performance, weight and durability. They are extremely waterproof, with a water column of 20,000 mm. The breathable membrane (20,000 g/m2/24h) ensures that water vapor is wicked away under high loads and guarantees a comfortable feel. The athletic fit includes a gusseted crotch for full freedom of movement and ergonomically pre-shaped knee sections. The close-fitting lower leg and silicone grippers ensure a snug fit over mountain boots(or ski boots) and keep the cuffs securely where they belong, minimizing the risk of tangling your crampons in the pants. These pants are a Salewa Committed product with an environmentally friendly PFC-free DWR(durable water repellent) coating and are manufactured according to additional, strict and independently audited environmental and social standards.
