The Puez Powertex Hybrid Overpants combine comfort, minimal pack size and protection for any activity in changeable weather conditions.In the overpants we use two different versions of Salewa's proven laminated, weatherproof fabric: The three-layer Powertex®-Ripstop inserts provide increased weather protection, the lighter, 2.5-layer Powertex®-Ripstop material for freedom of movement with a very small pack size. Both materials are fully waterproof with a water column of 10,000 millimetres, which describes the pressure at which water can penetrate the material. High vapor permeability is guaranteed with a breathability of 10,000 g/m2/24h, even on intensive climbs. The trousers also have fully taped seams. The slim, tailored cut and adjustable trouser hem with a press stud ensure an ideal, snug fit. Thanks to the full-length side zippers on both sides, the trousers can be put on and taken off in a flash if the weather suddenly changes - without having to take off your shoes. As part of the Salewa Committed collection, the pants are produced according to our additional environmental and sustainability standards to leave the smallest possible ecological footprint. All materials used are made from 100% recycled polyester and have a PFC-free, water-repellent DWR (durable water repellent) finish, which ensures that water permanently beads off the fabric without harming the environment.
