POC was born in 2005 out of real frustration: founder Stefan Ytterborn watched his own kids race on skis wearing protective gear that, in his view, was hopelessly outdated, even as the rest of the equipment kept evolving. That observation sparked a clear mission: save lives and reduce the consequences of accidents. To this day, POC develops protectors, eyewear, helmets and rugged apparel for cycling and winter sports in close collaboration with scientists and athletes, built with groundbreaking technologies and the highest safety standards. Add to that a distinctly Scandinavian, minimalist design that brings together functionality and peak performance for cycling, skiing and many other sports.
