About us

We are an e-commerce specialist in sporting goods retail based in Salzweg near Passau in Lower Bavaria. Our extensive range includes around 200 top brands. Every day, we send up to 6,000 parcels to our customers throughout Europe. Our product range focuses on outdoor, bike, camping and winter sports articles from leading manufacturers as well as promising trend brands and interesting newcomers to the market. Customers can also find detailed product presentations, practical tips and relevant news from our company in our blog.

Our history

When SportFits was founded in 2017, the onlineshop was actually only intended to supplement the winter sports and leisure portals snow-online.com and tourispo.com, which had been in existence since 2004. However, SportFits soon became one of the leading online sporting goods retailers in Bavaria. Due to the rapid growth, the warehouse space in Passau became too small, which is why the new logistics center including a large warehouse with AutoStore facility and office space was finally planned and built in Salzweg in 2023. The modern company building was built with a focus on sustainability and efficiency.

Our team

At the new location, a team of over 50 employees work in various departments from warehouse and returns management to customer support, purchasing, IT and marketing. As a specialist in innovative e-commerce, we are constantly working on optimizing the store, improving customer satisfaction and expanding the product range, which is why our team continues to grow and more exciting projects are already planned.
