The facts at a glance
Hanwag Sirius II GTX
The Sirius II GTX from Hanwag is the ideal companion for demanding mountaineers and alpine tour enthusiasts. This men'shiking boot has been specially developed for extreme conditions and offers optimum protection and comfort. Thanks to the robust construction made of strong split leather with a thickness of 3 to 3.2 mm and a soft leather upper, it can withstand the toughest conditions while offering a comfortable feel.
The permanently waterproof GORE-TEX® lining ensures that your feet always stay dry, regardless of whether you are hiking through snow, mud or rain. The excellent cold insulation in accordance with DIN EN 344-1 down to -15 °C keeps your feet warm even in icy temperatures. The raised rubber scree guard additionally protects the hard-wearing upper material from wear and tear.
The self-cleaning Vibram sole offers excellent grip and stability on any surface, while the crampon resistance makes the boot perfect for use in alpine regions. Weighing 1940 grams per pair in size 8, the Sirius II GTX is light enough for long tours without sacrificing stability. The lace lengths are optimally adjusted to ensure a perfect fit, and the ABCD categorization D shows that this boot is designed for the toughest conditions.
