The MS ALP Trainer 2 Mid GTX from Salewa is the ideal companion for demanding hikes, climbing tours and extended trekking adventures. Thanks to the waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort lining, this mid-cut boot offers reliable protection against adverse weather conditions and rough terrain. The high-quality suede leather and stretchupper material, together with a generous rubber rand, provide additional protection from rock edges and scree.
The precise fit of the Alp Trainer 2 ensures optimal support and comfort from the first time you put it on. Salewa's patented 3F system, which includes a steel cable, provides firm ankle support and lateral stability. The Flex Collar allows more freedom of movement of the ankle to the rear, which increases comfort, especially when descending. With the customizable SALEWA® Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) you can adjust the shoe volume individually and the climbing shoelacing system allows precise tightening up to the toes.
The exclusive Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole provides outstanding grip and traction on a variety of mountain terrain. With special climbing, grip and braking zones and an aggressive lug design, it also offers excellent performance on wet and muddy ground. With a drop of 8 mm and a weight of 552 g per shoe, the Alp Trainer 2 is lightweight and agile, making it an excellent choice for high mountain hiking.
