Made from wind- and water-repellent materials, the ZIENER men’s active jacket NIKOLO MAN with the ZIENER WEATHERSHIELD ensures excellent functionality and protection in light rain, wind and snow. It features small tabs for attaching to your belt loops, meaning that the jacket won’t move out of place when making your ascent or wearing a backpack. Thanks to its PrimaLoft® ACTIVE inner lining, the elasticated jacket combines the thermal advantages of insulation with the versatility of functional fabrics. This makes it warm yet highly breathable. The lining contains recycled material – for a resource-saving approach to the environment. Special inserts on the back ensure improved mobility and ventilation. The jacket is PFC-free thanks to its environmentally friendly waterproofing. Technical details such as a fixed hood, two zippered side pockets and one chest pocket contribute to the functional comfort. The active jacket comes with reflective design elements. The lightweight, ultra-fine microfiber fleece insulation material imitates the properties of fur and thereby guarantees effective thermoregulation with low volume and high breathability at the same time. At rest or during low activity, it thus acts as a thermal insulator, while during heavy movement it is extremely breathable and quick-drying.
PrimaLoft®
This isulation technology is the first and only microfibre insulation that takes down seriously in terms of warmth, lightness and softness. PrimaLoft® even surpasses the down: The synthetic microfibre is also particularly water-repellent, extremely breathable and dries quickly.
WINDSHIELD
The windproof, breathable and water-repellent membrane protects the body from cooling down due to the wind chill effect.
CONTAINS RECYCLED MATERIAL
The product contains recycled material, which contributes to a sustainable & environmentally friendly product cycle.
PFC Free
With PFC-free products, attention is paid to an environmentally friendly PFC-free impregnation, with consistent water repellency. PFCs (per- and polyfluorinated chemicals) are a large group of chemicals that are intermediates, auxiliaries or degradation products of certain fluorocarbon compounds. These are environmentally harmful substances. PFCs are used because of their water-, dirt- and grease-repellent properties. ZIENER is constantly working to remove the PFCs of concern from the life cycle of the products.
