With a water column of 10,000 millimetres, the material is reliably waterproof: the water column describes the pressure required for water to penetrate the fabric.
Nevertheless, at 10,000 g/m²/24h, the jacket remains extremely breathable: This means that 10 liters of water vapor per square meter can evaporate within 24 hours - so the jacket promises to be comfortable to wear even during strenuous activities. The design and features of the jacket are designed for full functionality for alpine hikes and trekking tours: the fully taped seams, waterproof zippers and permanently water-repellent DWR coating provide reliable protection against moisture and rain.
