The hard-wearing, highly abrasion-resistant Durastretch inserts with a high elastane content (11 percent) ensure a high degree of stretch and thus guarantee maximum freedom of movement. The Alpine-Hemp main material is the result of Salewa's extensive research- and development project, which was created through close collaboration between Salewa's textile technicians and experienced mountain guides. Hemp is a natural functional fiber that is very comfortable to wear and is characterized by its sustainable, resource-saving cultivation. Hemp is also considered the most durable natural fiber.The shorts have a comfortably wide, yet slim, elasticated waistband that can be adjusted using an internal drawstring. The fit is tapered at the legs and waist and ensures a good fit - in any situation.
