The Fanes Powertex 2-in-1 jacket is a fashionable, thoughtful 2-in-1 jacket that can be worn individually as a waterproof, breathable outer jacket, as a thermoregulating inner jacket or in combination as a protective, insulating jacket in autumn and winter. The outer material consists of two-layer Powertex fabric, which at 20,000 millimeters has a high water resistance (water column). The water column describes the pressure required for water to penetrate the fabric. In addition, the material is equipped with a PFC-free DWR impregnation (Durable Water Repellent), which also protects against dirt and thus contributes to breathability. Other features include a water-repellent two-way front zipper and an adjustable hood. The removable inner jacket, which can also be worn separately, incorporates Salewa's 80-gram lightweight TirolWool®-Responsive insulation, whose wool is sourced from Tyrolean mountain sheep. In addition, the insulation material is enhanced with Responsive yarns: these yarns contain thermoreactive minerals that recycle and slowly re-emit far-infrared energy (FIR) emitted by the body. This creates a long-lasting, sustainable heat.
