Salewa Ortles Harness
The Ortles Harness by Salewa is an extremely lightweight and compact climbing harness specially developed for ski mountaineering, glacier crossings and high-altitude mountaineering. Thanks to its minimalist construction and innovative webbing technology, it offers maximum comfort with minimum weight. The webbing varies in width to distribute pressure evenly in the right places, ensuring unparalleled comfort.
The dual SALEWA Easy-Slide buckles at the waist ensure a high level of safety and are easy to adjust even when wearing gloves, which is particularly useful in changing weather conditions or when putting on and taking off clothing. The leg loops can be adjusted independently of the hip loop and can be fully opened so that the harness can also be put on easily with skis or crampons on.
The Ortles Harness also has four gear loops and a fixed tie-in loop for better stability in the terrain. The cold-resistant metal buckles and EN 12277 Type C certification underline the high quality and safety of this climbing harness. How to measure
- 1. Waist:Measured the waist circumference below the navel. The measuring tape should not constrict the belly keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 2. Thigh circumference:Measured at the widest part of the thigh approximately halfway between the crotch and the knee.
