The facts at a glance
Hanwag Omega
Discover the ultimate companion for your mountain adventures: the Omega from Hanwag. This men's mountain boot is perfect for demanding alpine tours and offers maximum safety and stability thanks to its crampon-compatible construction. Thanks to the removable tongue and additional insole, the volume can be individually adjusted so that the boot sits comfortably even with thick socks. The high-quality split leather with a thickness of 3 to 3.2 mm ensures exceptional robustness and durability, while the optional Gore-Tex® lining provides excellent thermal insulation that withstands temperatures down to -15°C.
The Omega is not only functional, but also a masterpiece of workmanship. Equipped with a self-cleaning, insulating Vibram sole, it offers optimum grip on any surface and is therefore ideal for challenging mountain tours. The ABCDcategorization D underlines its suitability for extreme alpine use. With a weight of 2240 g per pair in size 8, the boot remains comfortable to wear despite its robust construction. The different lace lengths enable a perfect fit for all foot sizes.
The Omega also offers a wide range of uses, whether for mountaineering or hiking. The High-Cut cut provides additional ankle protection and stability, while the cold insulation in accordance with DIN EN 344-1 ensures cozy warmth. Whether with leather- or Gore-Tex lining, this boot leaves nothing to be desired and is the ideal companion for anyone who doesn't want to compromise on comfort and functionality.
