Born from local handicraft
C.A.M.P. stands for "Construzione Articoli Montagna Premana", translated as "Manufacture of Mountain Articles Premana". Even today, the headquarters of the Italian brand is still located in its birthplace and all products are developed and tested there. Although the company now has several production facilities, many items are still made by hand. The passion for well-crafted work is one of the core values of C.A.M.P. and is lived just as much as the love for mountain sports.

Deep roots, global perspectives
C.A.M.P.'s innovative spirit, combined with the outstanding quality of its products, has enabled international expansion and ever-growing trust within the mountaineering community. With vision, the manufacturer is constantly working on the development of new products that make the mountain experience even safer and more efficient. The topic of weight plays a particularly important role. The goal is to make equipment and clothing as light and yet as robust and durable as possible.
In over 100 years, C.A.M.P. has achieved a lot. This includes, for example, the creation of the first ice axe with an aluminium handle and the first ultra-light express sling. In 1993, it was one of the first outdoor companies with ISO 9001 certification and was able to establish itself firmly in professional high-altitude work with its Gyro and Giant devices. In addition, many renowned mountain athletes and pioneers such as Riccardo Cassin, Renato Casarotto or Patrick Berhault used C.A.M.P. equipment on their tours and in competitions.
