Nordic walking requires endurance. The poles support fast walking and ensure that not only the legs get moving, but also the upper body. For good grip, the handles are specially shaped and equipped with a loop. To provide support even on asphalt, most Nordic walking poles include a rubber buffer for the tip of the pole.
