The jacket is PFC-free thanks to its environmentally friendly waterproofing. Heat-sealed seams and a snow guard complete the jacket’s functional comfort. The two side pockets and chest pocket are great for stowing away the most important items. Other details include a ski pass pocket, a pocket for sunglasses and ski goggles, elasticated cuffs and reflective design elements. The hood complies with the DIN EN 14682 standard for the safety of children’s clothing.

It keeps reliably warm in cold weather thanks to the high-quality 140g/m² padding. In addition, it is equipped with the breathable, waterproof and windproof ZIENER AQUASHIELD® membrane (water column 10,000mm/breathability 10,000g/m²/24h), which ensures a warm and dry climate. Above the zipper is a button placket. Smaller items can be stored in the patch pockets with press studs. Furthermore, it is provided with reflective design elements. Thanks to the environmentally friendly impregnation, the vest is PFC free.

With PFC-free products, attention is paid to an environmentally friendly PFC-free impregnation, with consistent water repellency. PFCs (per- and polyfluorinated chemicals) are a large group of chemicals that are intermediates, auxiliaries or degradation products of certain fluorocarbon compounds. These are environmentally harmful substances. PFCs are used because of their water-, dirt- and grease-repellent properties. ZIENER is constantly working to remove the PFCs of concern from the life cycle of the products.
