Racetiger SC Carbon

The super light carbon version of the Racetiger SC with Tip Rocker. The excellent manoeuvrability and agility are also known from the regular SC models. But the weight reduction through the use of carbon and the Full Sensor Light wood core not only offers a significant improvement in ride comfort. Carbon enables an even sportier, more explosive driving style with high reaction speed. This construction in combination with UVO 3D and 3D Glass as well as the completely new side pulls with coordinated flex and blade geometries predestine the ski for highly sporty skiing styles. The UVO reduces the ski's vibrations and provides extremely efficient vibration damping. The 3D glass structure, in which the fibres run not only purely horizontally but also three-dimensionally over the ski, ensures both more pop and lively edge changes as well as reliable edge grip. The GripWalk-compatible vMotion 3 binding brings the full power of the skier to the ski.

  • UVO 3D

    UVO is the first freely rotating damping system and enables groundbreaking vibration damping of the ski. Every terrain, every surface under the ski generates vibrations during the descent. This causes the shovel area in particular to vibrate in every direction. This inevitably disturbs the smooth running of the ski and it becomes more difficult to keep the ski on the edge. The revolutionary UVO technology has been proven to absorb these vibrations, and both horizontal and vertical vibrations are noticeably reduced over the entire length of the ski. The descent becomes more relaxed and calmer, the edge grip more effective.
  • 3D.glass

    Völkl's latest development 3D.Glass once again enables an improvement in the handling characteristics and stability of a ski, especially in difficult snow conditions. Compared to a classic glass construction, the three-dimensional and multi-folded fabric layers in front of and behind the binding area result in increased edge grip and a more lively springback of the ski in curves.
  • Full Sensor Light wood core

    The Full Sensor Light wood core consists of a rod wood core with hardwood in the screw area and extra light wood in the outer area. In the alpine area, the Efficiency models in particular benefit from the weight reduction and enable fast, sporty turns.

    The carbon construction allows the optimal combination of low weight, best durability and very sporty driving characteristics.
  • Full sidewall

    The sidewall along the entire ski length ensures direct and best possible power transmission.
  • Base P-Tex 2100

    Sintered, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene coating with high density, excellent wear resistance and very good sliding properties.
