The Chimera from Scarpa represents the state of the art in climbing shoe construction and material selection. The PCB-Tension-System effectively supports the foot muscles when standing on footholds in overhanging terrain and ensures stability and comfort. In addition, the TPS system, with a special insert in the toe area, ensures optimum grip on small footholds in vertical terrain. The large rubber insert of the SRT system encloses the toe area and, together with the asymmetrical lacing, provides a robust toe patch that offers excellent toe hooking properties.
The Chimera's lasts, known as FZC, are specially designed to support the shape of the foot while offering maximum performance.
