Scarpa Generator V

The Generator V from Scarpa is the ideal companion for all men who want to live out their passion for climbing and bouldering. Developed for maximum performance and comfort, this climbing shoe offers excellent support for long climbing days. Thanks to its special construction with a stiff forefoot and more flexible midfoot, it is particularly suitable for crack and alpine climbing. The FG last shape ensures an optimal fit and precise movements, while the TRI Tension midsole efficiently shapes power transmission.
Particularly noteworthy is the excellent edge stability of the Generator V, which enables climbers to master even challenging routes with ease. The shoe is equipped with a double Velcro fastener, which ensures quick adjustment and a secure fit. In addition, the padding in the tongueand toe area offers additional comfort and protection, making the Generator V an essential piece of equipment for climbingand bouldering activities.

Technologies and manufacturing processes

Active Randing
The Bi-Tension Active Randing System is a tensioned rubber that extends backwards on both sides of the shoe to the heel. It keeps the tension under the toes right into the arch of the foot and promises maximum flexibility and optimum resilience.
TRI-TENSION
Tri-Tension Active Randing System provides built-in support for the foot while still allowing flex for smearing.
PAF
The PAF (Pressure-Absorbing-Fit) system is an innovative system that distributes heel tension while improving fit at the heel. The strong tension band is interrupted behind the heel to reduce pressure on the Achilles tendon. There, it is connected to a softer rubber that acts like a "bridge" and allows for a full fit to the individual heel shape. The holes at the top of the PAF act as indicators to tell you how much tension/support you have. 1-hole for light tension, 2-hole for medium tension, 3-hole for heavy tension.
M70 Rubber
M70 Rubber is a sole rubber that features the perfect combination of adaptability and durability. The Shore A hardness value of 70 is ideal for use in the area of the edge of the toe.
RESOLEABLE

XS-EDGE
The VIBRAM® XS Edge sole is used for shoes that are designed for precise grip, edge stability and strength. This material is also ideal for multipitch shoes.
