Scarpa Chimera
The Chimera is a softline model for ambitious sport climbers, which scores with its sensitivity and precision. The microfiber upper, with leather insert in the toe area, consists of 8 cut parts that are sewn together so that the shape fits perfectly to the foot without causing pressure points. The upper is enclosed in a soft M50 rubber, which leads to excellent hooking properties in the lateral heel and toe area. In the forefoot, the TPS insert supports the toes when standing small steps and also the asymmetrical shape of the shoe as well as the downturn and the high toe box ensure perfect power transmission and a precise toe. The grippy Vibram® XS Grip2 sole rubber is flexible and leads to outstanding friction properties. The Chimera is the climbing shoe model of choice for all sport climbers looking for a soft rock and indoor climbing shoe that excels at friction while supporting the foot during sensitive standing on small footholds.
