The abrasion-resistant Schoeller® nylon upper is reinforced with TPU inserts and a rubber rand for added protection from rocks and debris. The GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort membrane provides lightweight weather protection and insulation in changing conditions, including slush or deep snow. The patented SALEWA® 3F system, reinforced with Kevlar wires, provides more stability at the heel and ankle, while the Ankle Protector System (APS) ensures additional lateral support and protection for the ankle.
The Pomoca™ Alpine Dynamic outsole offers secure grip on rock, snow and ice as well as good crampon compatibility. It has a precise Climbing Zone, the Pomoca S-Path design for particularly good walking properties and a special rubber lug design for improved grip. The EVA midsole provides good cushioning and high precision on rock edges, while the customizable Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) allows additional adjustment of the shoe for a tighter or wider fit.
