The Ortles Durastretch M jacket by Salewa is the ideal softshelljacket for men who are hiking in changeable fall, winter and spring conditions. Inspired by the mighty Ortler, the largest ice wall in the Eastern Alps, this jacket offers outstanding weather protection and thermal comfort. The breathable softshell fabric ensures an optimal balance between protection and comfort, while the Free-Motion cut guarantees full freedom of movement and prevents the hem from riding up when climbing.
Made from innovative Schoeller®-Naturetec, the jacket combines robust, partially recycled polyamide-functional fibers with a natural merino wool content on the inside. This ensures a pleasant feel against the skin. A Durastretch ripstop structure is used in the shoulder area, which increases the durability of the jacket. The Direct Access System enables quick and easy access to your LVSdevice or the layers underneath.
A special innovation is the new under-helmet hood construction with a high, strap-compatible collar, which was developed and tested in collaboration with athletes. The straps are routed through hidden openings in the collar and closed under the chin, which guarantees easy operation of the front zipper and improved freedom of movement of the hood. The jacket is also equipped with a PFC-free DWR(durable water repellent) coating, which makes it particularly environmentally friendly and also keeps it water-repellent.
