The Solar Ultra is packed with the power of technical and recycled materials and embodies Rab's commitment to developing more sustainable yet high-performance gear. The Solar Ultra 2 is quick-drying, lightweight and robust, equipped with heat-reflecting TILT technology and offers excellent thermal performance despite its low weight. The slim, tapered mummy shape reduces bulk and weight, which is ideal for quick adventures with as little gear as possible in the cold.The three-layer insulation material made from 100% recycled Stratus™ Eco is arranged in an accordion shape - the Solar Ultra mimics the function of down in a lightweight, featherless construction. Our integrated TILT technology not only reduces the loss of radiant heat by up to 15%, but also significantly improves thermal insulation without compromising the size, breathability or weight of the sleeping bag. The quilted elastic inner material nestles closer to the wearer with the inner lining and insulation, thus avoiding cold bridges. By quilting in places, the insulating lining is connected with as few quilting seams as possible to reduce the risk of cold bridges. It has a ¾-long main zipper with a wind protection chamber along its entire length to prevent body heat from escaping to the outside and an adjustable, cozy warmth collar for zipping up with the same function. With its robust 20D-Atmos™ recycled polyester outer fabric, the Solar Ultra is the ultimate synthetic sleeping bag for the mountains or for cyclingand backpacking trips with as little gear as possible.Sustainability - it's complicated.
