As Patagonia's largest daypack, the Paxat has a spacious main compartment with a front flap for all the day's gear. Everything is neatly arranged and within easy reach so you can easily walk through the city or cross mountain passes. The main compartment swallows larger items such as books, travel provisions and running shoes for afternoon training. Inside it has a padded and lined compartment for a tray. The pocket under the back padding is large enough for 15-inch laptops and can be fully zipped open so that you can quickly get through the security check at the airport. When you leave civilization, it can also be used for your drinking bladder. A third zippered compartment holds smaller items such as a tablet, pens, lip care and keys. Expandable zippered side pockets provide room for sunglasses, charger and cables or drinking bottles. An expandable front pocket quickly stows more items. Airflow mesh material on the shoulder straps and back padding provides cooling air circulation; compression straps stabilize the contents. 630-Denier smooth fabric made of 100% nylon (50% recycled, 50% highly tear-resistant). 200-denier lining made of 100% recycled polyester. Both with PU coating and DWR (durable water repellent) impregnation.
