The Veloce Extreme cycling shoes from Northwave, specially developed for men, are the result of a project launched in collaboration with Olympic champion and hour record holder Filippo Ganna. These shoes are ideal for road cyclists looking for optimal power transmission and comfort. The sole is made of 100% unidirectional carbon with an impressive stiffness index of 15, which maximizes pedaling efficiency. The Hightail structure and the PowerShape system help to transfer power directly to the pedals.
Durability and comfort are ensured by the replaceable rubber heels and the larger ventilation openings that improve air circulation. The upper material with underlap construction offers an enveloping fit and ensures even closing. Special laser cuts optimize ventilation and thermoregulation of the feet. The innovative Anatomic Reticular Support (ARS 2.0) technology provides additional support and ensures a correct position of the foot during the ride.
The double SLW3twist lock from X-Dial enables precise adjustment of the fit in two zones. Two footbeds, 5 mm (Slim Fit) and 3 mm (Regular Fit), offer individual customization options. The raised heel and PowerShape heel cup provide stability and support. The Veloce Extreme reduces perceived exertion by 15% and increases maximum power output by 4%, resulting in less muscle effort.
