Montebelluna in 1971 - this is where the story of Northwave began, at that time known as Calzaturificio Piva, with the production of ski boots. The founder saw an opportunity in the rapid growth of the snowboard market and henceforth also produced OEM shoes. With the launch of the first own collection in 1991, the brand established itself worldwide in a very short time. Only two years later, the range was expanded to include mountain bike clothing and shoes.
