Technologies and manufacturing processes

• Hydrophobic coating

  With the 4:3 models for children and young people, the high-quality HYDROPHOBIC COATING is used instead of the NMT OPTICS coating. In addition to surface protection, it also has water-repellent properties that allow moisture to run off and evaporate quickly.

• Dual bionomic spherical lenses

  The MARKER DUAL BIONOMIC lenses consist of a double lens construction with integrated thermal blocker. All lenses are oriented to the curvature of the human eye in order to see objects through the glasses as they actually are. Unlike conventional, non-progressively tapered standard lenses, our lenses allow light rays to strike the eye undistorted and directly thanks to Bionomic Curve Lens Technology (Grade 1, ANSI Z87.1), guaranteeing fatigue-free, 100% correct vision. Outer lenses (1) Depending on the goggle model, different materials are used in the manufacture of the outer lens: All standard lenses are made of durable polycarbonate and finished with an extremely scratch-resistant coating. They offer 100% UV A-B-C protection up to UV 400 nm. The polarized lenses of the top models are made of TAC (Tri Acetate Cellulose). This makes them even lighter, even clearer and also more scratch-resistant. TAC lenses offer maximum visibility and safety and of course 100% UV A-B-C protection up to UV 400 nm. Inner lens (2) The inner lens is made of cellulose acetate and is heat pressed onto the spherical outer lens to match its shape and guarantee 100% undistorted optics. The anti-fog and anti-reflective coatings are "embedded" in the lens, so they cannot be rubbed off even in the long term. Thermoblocker (3) The inner lens also acts as a thermal barrier, creating a separating layer of air between the outer and inner lens. This thermoblocker balances out the temperature differences, which keeps the glasses warm and dry on the inside and prevents them from fogging up.

• MarkAIR Vent System

  All goggle frames are equipped with the progressive MarkAIR VENT SYSTEM. Design and airflow are created to allow perfect ventilation of the lenses and unhindered airflow via the helmet and its MarkAIR CHANNEL SYSTEM. This keeps the inside of the lens dry and fog-free. The air-permeable foam behind the inlets and outlets reliably prevents snow and moisture from penetrating.

• XDRY FACE FOAM

  Comfortable and extra soft! The XDRY construction ensures an optimal fit and pleasant wearing comfort. The soft fleece layer on the skin absorbs moisture and transports it to the outside.

• Superfit frame design

  MARKER goggles convince with perfect fit and highest functionality. The shape of the frame and the material used play a decisive role. We only use highly elastic ELASTOGRAN (Made in Germany) for the production of all SUPERFIT FRAMES, which means that the goggles automatically adapt to the respective face contour. By the way, even at extremely low outside temperatures, because ELASTOGRAN retains its full flexibility regardless of the degree of cold. The MARKER V-SPLIT NOSE also contributes to the unique fit. It guarantees that the frame adapts independently to the shape of the nose and closes without tension or pressure.

• Silicon anti-slip coated goggle straps

  The high-quality and very durable goggle straps distribute the tension around the head for a perfect hold without causing pressure points. Thanks to a baked-on silicone coating on the inside, the goggles sit absolutely bombproof and slip-proof on all helmets.

• Marker Helmet/Goggle Integration

  Only the perfect fusion of helmet and goggle lead to an optimally functioning unit. That's why MARKER products are 100% coordinated. All helmets and goggles are designed in such a way that they pick up exactly the shape of their counterpart and follow its line. This exact fit is a prerequisite for the best possible airflow between helmet and goggles. The MarkAIR Channel ventilation system of the helmets in conjunction with the MarkAIR Vent System of the goggles ensures maximum functionality. The sophisticated system of air inlets and outlets in conjunction with a network of channels in the helmet prevents any fogging of the glasses and allows individually adjustable air circulation. This allows the temperature inside the helmet to be adjusted depending on the outside temperature and exertion.
