The Taiss Light Mid GTX Women from Mammut is the ideal companion for demanding hikes and alpine adventures. This hiking boot, specially developed for women, impresses with its waterproof Gore-Tex® material and robust workmanship, which provides reliable protection even in the most adverse conditions. The mid cut provides additional stability in the ankle area, while the schoeller® softshell material ensures a comfortable fit and flexibility.
Thanks to the innovative Contact Control and Vibram Litebase technologies, the Taiss Light Mid GTX offers an excellent balance between lightness, durability and performance. With a weight of just 470 g (EU 38 ⅔) and a flex index of B2, this shoe is both light and robust enough for challenging trails. The tweaked design and raised rubber rand strips guarantee a long service life and make resoling easy.
The 2-Zonen lacing system allows individual adjustment to different situations, which is particularly beneficial on long tours. The Vibram® Ascension Litebase sole ensures optimum grip on a wide variety of terrain, while the Microfiber Racing material and GORE-TEX Footwear lining ensure a high level of comfort and breathability. With an insulation value of up to -20 degrees (tested according to DIN EN ISO 20344) and a drop of 11 mm, the boot is also suitable for cold conditions and offers limited crampon suitability.
