Hanwag Makra Pro GTX
The Makra Pro GTX from Hanwag is the ideal companion for demanding mountain and alpine tours as well as extended trekking adventures. Equipped with a waterproof GORE-TEX® membrane and robust Perwanger upper leather, this men's mountain boot offers reliable protection and durability. The innovative combination of PU, TPU and EVA in the midsole ensures perfect cushioning and precision on the approach. The integrated crampon pad on the heel makes the boot conditionally crampon-compatible and therefore ideal for glacier passages.
A particular highlight is the Vibram® Makra outsole, which offers excellent grip on a variety of terrain. Thanks to the "Hanwag 2 Zone Lock" system with mechanical clamp, the heel hold is optimized so that the shoe sits securely even during intensive activities. The optimized Ghilly lacing up to the toe area enables individual adjustment and a stable hold, while the Alpine Wide last offers additional comfort for the forefoot area without compromising climbing performance and precision.
The Makra Pro GTX is not only functional, but also comfortable. With a weight of 1310 g per pair in size 8 and an ABCD categorization of BC, it is ideal for versatile alpine use. The AlpineWide fit provides more space in the forefoot area, which is particularly beneficial on longer tours. The length of the laces varies depending on the shoe size to ensure an optimal fit.
