For four generations, the Gottstein family business has been processing wool in its manufactory in the heart of Tyrol and is one of the leading specialists in fulling, felting and wool processing. The Cabin Loafer from the HANWAG by Gottstein collaboration is a high-quality house and huttoe shoe made from fulling fabric - sustainably and resource-conserving manufactured in the heart of Tyrol. The natural material made from 100% virgin wool is obtained without mulesing and impresses with its outstanding functional properties: it is durable, moisture and temperature regulating and offers pleasant wearing comfort thanks to its high elasticity and soft edging made from fine knitwear. A special feature of the manufacturing process is the high quality of the clear, pure Tyrolean mountain water, which is essential for felting and fulling. Each felt slipper is also made seamlessly and by hand over a shoe last. The shoe is completed by a non-slip and waterproof natural latex sole: practical on the often wet terraces of mountain huts. A textile loop is used to hang or attach the shoes to the hiking rucksack, whereby the shoes also take up little space in the rucksack thanks to their flexibility.
