Edelrid Kids Shield II

The Kids Shield II from Edelrid is the ideal companion for little adventurers when climbing and bouldering. This helmet, specially developed for children, not only offers a child-friendly, fresh design, but also the highest safety standards. Thanks to the lightweight In-Mold construction made from a foamed EPS-core and a robust polycarbonate-shell, it is particularly durable and provides reliable protection in the event of falls. The tested impact protection on the sides as well as in the front and back of the head in accordance with EN 12492 gives parents peace of mind while the little ones can concentrate on the adventure.
The Kids Shield II is equipped with a fully adjustable chin strap with side buckles for even more comfort. The Airflow System with large ventilation openings ensures optimum air circulation and keeps the head pleasantly cool, even during intensive activities. A particular highlight is the revised Wing Fit system, which can be perfectly adjusted to any head shape using a rotary knob at the back of the head.
The helmet is also equipped with four robust headlamp clips, which provide sufficient light even on adventurous night hikes. The ergonomic inner shape is equipped with removable, washable pads that ensure a comfortable fit. Helmets with the orange opening mechanism and Wing-Fit system also meet the EN 1078 standard for bicycle helmets and therefore offer double the possibilities for active kids.
