Black Diamond W Airnet Harness

Developed in collaboration with Black Diamond athlete Adam Ondra, the airNET is a performance-focused climbing harness for the 2020 Summer Olympics. The patented airNET Technology is an extremely breathable and lightweight construction for performance sports, which distributes the load evenly over the airNET when falling into the rope. It also includes the patented Infinity Loop, a durable, narrow belay loop whose special texture prevents it from catching at the seams. At an incredible 235 g (Men's Medium), the harness features two compression molded gear loops in the front and two lightweight webbing gear loops in the back. Here we followed Ondra's suggestion, who simply removed the rear gear loops on other harnesses because of their weight. The black Dynex webbing tie-in loops are abrasion-resistant and lightweight, while the seamless, taped edges of the waistbelt and leg loops sit almost unnoticed against the skin during intense redpoint ascents.
