In the early years of BACH, a customer asked us to make him an alternative to a daypack called Barney, which we then appropriately named FLINTSTONE. One of these FLINTSTONES found its way to Japan, where Bach's friend Takuya found it and asked us if we could reissue this cool piece. Takuya sells the inconspicuous Retro Daypacks like hot cakes in Japan - we don't want to keep them from the Europeans any longer.

Cordura® fabric 1000D is our strongest fabric and is very abrasion and tear resistant. The fibers are crimped (air-texturized). This results in a coarsely textured, matt surface with a pleasant feel. If appropriately woven, Cordura® fabric can be around twice as abrasion-resistant as Oxford nylon or smooth polyester fabrics with the same thread weight. With only 30% additional weight, 1000D Cordura, for example, has about 2.5x greater tear strength than 420D Oxford nylon.
