Alpina Gems

In English, "Gems" means gemstone. The ALPINA GEMS is the freeridejewel from Alpina: unique, light and valuable - a real gem for the head. A particularly striking feature of the GEMS is the scattered hole patternstructure, which enables optimum ventilation. All freeriders will benefit from this feature on sweaty climbs or in sunny mountain weather. Of course, the active ventilation can also be easily operated with gloves on.
The helmet offers high wearing comfort thanks to the comfortable, warming neck protection and the removable ear pads. The removable and washable pads ensure hygiene and durability. In addition, the reinforced lower edges ensure additional protection and durability of the helmet. The GEMS is a standard-helmet in accordance with DIN-Norm EN 1077:2007 Class B and is perfect for ski touring and freeskiing-activities.
With the easy-to-operate, anti-twist buckle with multi-stage automatic latching mechanism, the helmet always stays securely and firmly on the head. The hybrid shell construction and the deep cover at the back of the head offer additional protection in the backcountry by optimally distributing the force of impacting objects. Made from robust nylon, the helmet is designed for unisex users and offers maximum safety and comfort when freeriding.
