We are moving!
SportFits has grown rapidly over the last few years. That's why we are taking the next step and building a new company headquarters with a larger warehouse including an AutoStore solution, modern office space and a digitally equipped showroom. The relocation to our new building in Salzweg near Passau is planned for the summer of 2023. We reveal what it will look like and what the new headquarters will mean for you.
New company headquarters for SportFits
Although the crises of the last few years have presented us with new challenges, SportFits has nevertheless developed enormously. So much so, in fact, that our current location at Mollnhof in Passau has reached its limits. To ensure that we can continue to meet the increasing demands on shipping efficiency and product selection, we are building a new company headquarters. This will be located in Salzweg in the district of Passau and thus continue to be in the immediate vicinity of the city.
The new SportFits building will include offices, a digitally equipped showroom and a large warehouse with AutoStore, an automated storage system for small parts. We are investing more than five million euros in the new building.
For both our CEOs, Florian Weis and Martin Bauer, the new building is a milestone in the company's history.
We want to offer our customers the best possible service and a special shopping experience. But also the cornerstone of our company, our employees should feel comfortable at the new location and move our company forward with joy and passion.
Robotic shipping logistics
Element Logic's AutoStore system will be the centerpiece of our new warehouse. The fully automated storage and retrieval system will support our warehouse staff and enable us to process orders more efficiently. As a result, we can speed up shipping and send out significantly more packages per day. In addition, the AutoStore reduces the space required for product storage.
For our customers, this means: a larger product selection and shorter shipping times!
Sustainable and energy-efficient
For us, efficiency not only plays a role in work processes, but also in energy supply. That is why we pay attention to sustainability when planning our new company building. The entire building will be constructed according to the BEG standard of efficiency house class 40, which is exceptionally energy-efficient for a commercial building. In addition, a large photovoltaic system on the roof and a heat pump will ensure an energy supply independent of gas. Parking spaces with charging points for e-cars are provided for our employees and guests.

Construction is scheduled to start in the fall of 2022, so we can move into our new home next summer. We will keep you updated ;)
