POWERRAIL
The Powerrail is a circumferential plastic rail that, on the one hand, distributes the tension of the lacing evenly over the entire foot. On the other hand, it gives the entire shoe more support.
PROTECTIVE SHIELD
The durable material of the shield protects the delicate knitted area of the shoe. Together with the Powerrail, the shoe can be laced perfectly.
URBAN TRAIL SOLE
The sole design is inspired by the hoof of the ibex, nature's best climber. Even the smallest protrusion is enough for the ibex to find a secure foothold. The secret behind it are the hooves: The outer edge of the hoof is made of hard horn. This gives the animal a secure hold. Inside the hoof are soft fat pads that absorb and release pressure. The outer layer of the Urban Trail sole is also made of harder rubber to provide optimal traction and a secure grip. The inner part is made of softer rubber. This provides optimum grip on wet surfaces and at the same time dampens the impact forces.
Two-part forefoot
Following the hoof shape of cloven hoofed animals, the front part of the sole is divided into two parts. This gives the foot more flexibility for optimal power transmission.
Closed heel
The greatest compressive forces occur at the heel. For this reason, the heel area of the sole is modeled after the horse's hoof. This distributes the pressure evenly over the heel bone.
