FULL CARBON SOLE
Seven layers of carbon on top of each other: This is our formula for making this ultra-light sole with very high stiffness. The structure is designed to maximize power transmission and efciency when pedaling. Two integrated vents promote air circulation inside the shoe for optimal temperature management.
EXOFRAME
The shape is designed to maximally enclose the midfoot and hindfoot. High energy transfer from the foot to the pedal during the push and pull phases of the pedal stroke. EXOFRAME is made from recycled plastic laminate used in car windshields. This super strong material prevents glass from shattering and has shatterproof properties. Glass is easy to recycle, but until now, no solution has been found for recycling the inner plastic film. UYN has turned an environmentally harmful waste into a new resource.
MICRO TUNE CLOSING SYSTEM
UYN's closure system, consisting of a single rotor for fast tightening and CLICK-TO-FIT technology, where the closure can be adjusted to the millimeter and fully opened with a single button. - Finely tuned fit: Forces are distributed evenly over the entire socket without pressure points. - Fast and easy closing: Don't waste time adjusting the shoe before the final sprint to the line. - Ultra lightweight: The single-rotor system enables a significant weight saving compared to two-rotor systems

HEMP INSOLE
Hemp fabric is made from fibers from the stems of Cannabis sativa, a plant recognized for thousands of years as a source of exceptionally durable textile fibers. We have chosen this natural fabric to make the insole of your UYN shoes. Hemp is the most durable natural textile and highly resistant to pilling. At the same time, it provides excellent ventilation, moisture absorption and bacteriostatic effect. Hemp insole cools your feet in summer and keeps the skin dry.
