The Summit Torre Egger FUTURELIGHT™ boots from The North Face are the perfect choice for demanding alpinists. These state-of-the-art boots have been specially developed for the challenges of high alpine climbing and offer a combination of breathability, waterproofness and stability. Thanks to the unique FUTURELIGHT™ technology, air can escape through the material, effectively regulating body temperature and preventing overheating.
The grippy Vibram® Litebase Mont rubber sole provides excellent traction and durability on slippery surfaces. The waterproof nature of the fabric reliably keeps out rain and snow, ensuring absolute dryness. Heel counter technology provides additional stability on uneven terrain, made possible by collaboration with members of The North Face athletes team.
A particular highlight of the Summit Torre Egger FUTURELIGHT™ boots is the double boot system with two interchangeable liners that enable optimum temperature regulation. The innovative Boa®-Fit system ensures a precise, high-performance fit, while compatibility with automatic crampons provides excellent grip on ice and hard snow. The carbon fiber shaft gives the boots additional stiffness and stability.
With an average weight of just 681.8g per boot, the Summit Torre Egger FUTURELIGHT™ boots offer a lightweight yet robust solution for extreme conditions. The upper is made from a combination of Spectra®, Cordura®, Dyneema® and FUTURELIGHT™, while the midsole is made from lightweight PU. These boots are not only functional, but also designed for individual fit and comfort, thanks to the interchangeable insoles and the medium-high inner boot with low profile.
