The 2-METER Dome from The North Face is the ultimate tent for high-altitude mountaineering and base camp, designed to withstand even the most extreme weather conditions. Thanks to the DWR treatment, it offers durable protection against moisture and fabric soaking, so you stay dry even in light rain. The geodesic dome design with double-layer fabric defies hurricanes and snowstorms - whether at Everest base camp or Denali. With a comfortable sleeping capacity for eight people and the ability to remove the floor to create a kitchen, this tent offers maximum comfort and flexibility.
The color-coded polearchitecture allows for quick and easy setup, while the adjustable roof ventilation ensures optimal air exchange while providing protection from bad weather. A variety of tabs allow you to conveniently hang your stoves and equipment. Two doors provide multiple entryand exit options, and the special polearrangement creates steep walls that maximize living space.
The flysheet and awning are made from Heavy-Duty Nylon Oxford with a 1500mm PU-coating, while the groundsheet is made from Heavy-Duty Nylon Taffeta with a 5000mm PU-coating and PFC-free, durable water repellent DWR-finish. With a total weight of 22.607 kg and a floor area of 15.5 m², the 2-METER Dome offers enough space and stability for the most demanding expeditions.
