Developed in collaboration with experienced mountain guides, this approach shoe offers a perfect combination of professional climbing precision and all-day comfort. The exclusive AST technology ensures a precise fit that provides stability and support even during intensive activities.
Thanks to the Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort membrane, the shoe remains waterproof and breathable so that your feet stay dry and comfortable all year round. The Vibram® Megagrip™ outsole offers unparalleled grip on dry and wet surfaces and maximizes adaptation to different ground conditions. The rubber-Arch Grip and Climbing Zone on the sole provide additional technical performance and precision on rocky trails and via ferratas.
The Sulfur S MS also scores points with an anatomically shaped Ortholite® footbed that offers high comfort and long-lasting performance. A practical back loop makes it easier to put onand take off the shoes and allows them to be easily attached to a rucksack or climbing harness. With the option to resole the sole as part of the Vibram Repair If You Care project, the shoe offers a sustainable solution for environmentally conscious adventurers.

ARCH GRIP: In the middle of the outsole, under the arch of the foot, is the rubber arch grip. It gives the shoe additional technical performance. The special shape of its "teeth" ensures better grip on slippery edges and raised edges as well as on via ferrata rungs and ladders.
CLIMBING ZONE: The outsole has a flat climbing zone at the toe. This special climbing feature ensures increased precision as well as toe and edge strength on slabs, ledges and edges, making them the perfect choice for steeper rock faces.
BACKLOOP: The small loop makes it easier to put on and take off the shoes and also allows them to be attached to a rucksack or climbing harness.
ORTHOLITE® FOOTBED: The anatomically shaped Ortholite® footbed is highly breathable and offers superior comfort and long-lasting performance.
GORE-TEX® EXTENDED COMFORT LINING: The Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort membrane offers durable waterproof and breathable weather protection and ensures that your feet stay dry and comfortable all day and all year round.

CLIMBING PRECISION
By combining adaptive memory foams with pre-molded thermoplastic inserts and an Ortholite footbed, the AST - Adaptive Shape Technology - adapts the Sulfur precisely to any foot shape. The Sulfur is built around an anatomical last and is equipped with Edge Frame technology and a Vibram®Megagrip™ outsole with climbing zone, which significantly improves climbing performance.
CLIMBING PERFORMANCE MEETS HIKING WALKABILITY
The Edge Frame plate placed above the midsole provides rigidity and support when climbing, while still allowing the shoe to flex freely when walking. The result: Climbing performance meets hiking walking function. The longitudinal elements promote stiffness and torsional stability in the toe and midfoot area. The crossed cut-out arrangements allow more flexibility in the midfoot area.
HIKING COMFORT
The midsole consists of two different densities. The softer EVA component at the heel provides cushioning and ground adaptation to ensure optimal walking comfort. The midsole and outsole are equipped with a forward-facing sole profile to enable a smoother transition from the heel to the toes and thus longer walking with greater comfort.
