The Spark Speed S GTX from Tecnica is the ideal companion for anyone who doesn't want to compromise when hiking, trekking or speed hiking. This unisex lowcut shoe combines state-of-the-art technologies and materials to maximize comfort, durability and performance. The upper is reinforced with a TPUfoil laminated to the polyamide mesh to provide additional protection in critical areas such as the heel and toe cap. Thanks to the GORE-TEX® Invisible Fit membrane, your feet stay dry and comfortable in any weather
The Vibram® Megagrip™ outsole provides exceptional grip on wet and dry surfaces, while the Ortholite® footbed with its high breathability offers superior comfort. The special Impulso midsole technology combines a highrebound EVA midsole with a full-length Pebax® foam plate, resulting in a dynamic and propulsive gait. The EVA Exoshell Cage additionally protects the foot and midsole from rocks and debris, while the V-shaped ESS plate increases torsional stability and prevents injuries
With a sporty fit that is tailored to the specific requirements of fast hikers, the Spark Speed S GTX offers agile and precise performance. SPECIFIC FAST HIKING SPORTY FIT
The Agate Speed was developed around an activity-specific anatomical last to meet the ergonomic and biometric requirements of fast hikers. In addition, the Agate Speed is carefully tailored to the more triangular shape, low volume and narrower heel bone of women's feet. The shoe has a moderately snug and agile fit to meet the demands of sportier, more demanding speed hiking.
STABLE FOOT SUPPORT
The Impulso technology's Pebax® foam plate sits in a balanced EVA midsole geometry, providing a lightweight, durable base that supports the foot during intense fast-paced hiking and maintains the lateral stability of the shoe during fast downhill movements or on uneven terrain. Furthermore, the V-shaped ESS plate at the midfoot provides greater torsional stability and helps to prevent ankle injuries.
RESPONSIVE CUSHIONING
The midsole area features Tecnica's exclusive Impulso technology, which combines the benefits of a high-rebound EVA midsole and a full-length Pebax® foam plate in the midfoot and forefoot. The result is a dynamic and propulsive gait with balanced cushioning, agile performance with a smooth and fast transition and a reactive toe-off on the hard climb to the summit.
