A particular highlight of the Magma 2.0 S GTX MS is the oversized heel, which provides stability on downhill sections and enables unparalleled braking performance thanks to rubberstability lamellae. The Soft Lycra Collar offers additional comfort by minimizing friction and snuggling comfortably around the ankle. The anatomically shaped Ortholite® insole ensures a perfect fit and long-lasting comfort, while the AST technology enables adaptation to any foot shape.
For maximum performance in any terrain, the Magma 2.0 is equipped with a Multi-Traction outsole that is based on the design of MTB-Enduro tires. This sole wraps the upper material in critical areas, offers protection and makes a conventional glued rubber edge superfluous. OVERSIZED HEEL: The extra-large, oversized heel shape provides excellent stability when hiking or running downhill and on technical traverses. Two rubber stability sipes on both sides of the back of the shoe provide an unparalleled level of braking on technical descents, even on scree, gravel or loose rock.

ALL MOUNTAIN PRECISE FIT
Through the combination of pre-molded thermoplastic inserts and an Ortholite footbed, the AST - Adaptive Shape Technology - adapts the Magma 2.0 precisely to any foot shape. The Magma 2.0 was developed around an anatomical last and offers excellent midfoot support and secure heel hold during fast movements on the mountain in technical terrain.
ALL-TERRAIN PERFORMANCE
The exclusive sole profile of the multi-traction outsole, inspired by the MTB enduro tire design, is equipped with Vibram® Litebase™ technology. The Megagrip™ rubber compound offers optimum grip on all surfaces, in both wet and dry conditions. The outsole wraps the upper in critical abrasion zones, providing protection and eliminating the need for a traditional bonded rubber rand.
DOWNHILL COMFORT
To provide comfort on fast downhill sections, the Magma 2.0 has a molded EVA midsole with high rebound that absorbs heavy impacts and an extra-large heel area that provides great stability when hiking or on descents and challenging traverses. Rubber stabilizing elements on both sides of the heel enable extremely controlled braking.
