The Forge 2.0 GTX WS from Tecnica is the ideal companion for women who value comfort and functionality when trekking. Thanks to the innovative Adaptive Shape Technology (AST), the shoe adapts perfectly to the individual shape of the foot and therefore offers all-day comfort on demanding trails. The combination of Gore-Tex® material and a Vibram® XS Trek EVO™ sole makes the shoe windproof, waterproof and breathable, making it ideal for technical terrain and changing weather conditions.
The timeless design of the Forge 2.0 GTX WS combines retro elements with modern accents and reflects Tecnica's decades of experience in the field of technical mountaineering boots. The Vibram® outsole provides excellent traction and stability, while the self-cleaning channels protect the sole from dirt and mud. For a long service life, the shoes can be resoled as part of the Vibram "Repair If You Care" project.
With the Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort Lining, your feet stay dry and comfortable even on long hikes, while the specific functions of the sole ensure multi-directional traction and technical performance. Whether on rocky trails or in dense forest, the Forge 2.0 GTX WS offers the necessary support and safety.

MOUNTAIN DNA: The Makalu 85 remains true to its origins in the mountains. It is designed for technical terrain and features a Vibram®️ outsole with the durable XS Trek compound. To keep your feet fresh and dry in all weathers, the Makalu 85 benefits from a Gore-Tex® lining with a breathable and waterproof membrane.
GORE-TEX® EXTENDED COMFORT LINING: The Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort membrane offers durable waterproof and breathable weather protection and ensures that your feet stay dry and comfortable all day and all year round.
VIBRAM® XS TREK EVO™ SOLE: The XS Trek EVO™ outsole is a complex adaptive design developed together with our partner Vibram®. The sole has four different areas with specific functions. The outer lugs are responsible for ground adaptability and stability in different mountain terrain. The inner lugs provide multidirectional traction, while the front half-climbing zone offers improved technical approach performance. Finally, the self-cleaning channels keep the sole free of dirt and mud.

GROUND VERSATILITY
The Forge 2.0 is equipped with a Vibram® XS Trek Evo™ sole that adapts to a variety of wet and dry terrains. The lugs on the edge of the sole ensure perfect ground adaptation and stability on all types of terrain. The lugs on the inside of the sole improve multidirectional traction. The semi-climbing zone increases climbing performance and self-cleaning channels keep the sole free of mud and debris.
STABLE SUPPORT
The Forge 2.0 features a polypropylene stiffening element placed over the outsole and midsole for stability and support on uneven technical terrain with heavy packs, while an ESS plate sits under the compressed EVA midsole to protect the forefoot area from sharp rocks.
