The Vibramu00e Megagripu2122 sole provides unparalleled grip on a wide variety of surfaces, whether dry or wetu00e. This is complemented by the reactive cushioning of the Impulso technology, which offers excellent energy return and flexibility. The EVA exoshell frame protects the foot from stones and rocks, while the specially shaped midsole provides stability and support, especially when moving quickly downhill or on uneven terrain.

STABLE FOOT SUPPORT
The Pebax® foam plate of the Impulso technology sits in a balanced EVA midsole geometry, providing a lightweight, durable base that supports the foot during intense fast hiking and maintains the lateral stability of the shoe during fast downhill movements or on uneven terrain. Furthermore, the V-shaped ESS plate at the midfoot provides greater torsional stability and helps to prevent ankle injuries.
REACTIVE CUSHIONING
The midsole area features Tecnica's exclusive Impulso technology, which combines the benefits of high-rebound EVA and a full-length Pebax foam plate for excellent cushioning, explosive energy return and long-lasting flexibility. In addition, the exclusive Flex Groove design of the outsole provides targeted flex points that increase flexibility and improve forward movement.
SPECIFIC WOMEN'S COMFORTABLE FIT
The Agate has been designed around a gender-specific anatomical last to carefully accommodate the more triangular shape, lower volume and narrower heel bone of women's feet. The midsole has been optimized to support the higher arch typical of women's feet. The comfortable anatomical design was approved by focus groups of the W2W initiative and scientifically confirmed by CeRiSM.
