The Transit Jr. Mips from Smith is the ideal bike helmet for young adventurers who want to be safe and stylish on the road. Specially designed for children, this helmet combines safety and comfort at the highest level. The integrated Mips® safety system provides additional protection by effectively absorbing rotational forces in the event of an angled impact. This technology is complemented by the lightweight In-Mold construction, which seamlessly combines the outer shell with EPS foam for a durable yet lightweight design.
The helmet is certified in accordance with the strict CPSC, DIN EN 1078 and AS/NZS 2063 standards, which guarantees the highest safety standards. With the Dial Fit System, the helmet can be individually adjusted so that it always fits perfectly - a must for the safety and comfort of little cyclists. Sizes XS and S cover a head circumference of 48 to 55 cm and are ideal for children aged 4 to 12 years.
The AirEvac™ ventilation system with 16 fixed ventilation slots ensures optimum air circulation and prevents the goggles from fogging up, which is particularly beneficial on longer rides. For additional safety, the helmet can be fitted with a rechargeable Transit light, which is available separately.
