It features a red light mode for preserved night vision, a battery level indicator and a higher light output of 350 lumens compared to the Scout 3X. Scout 3XTH features hybrid technology, which means that the battery compartment is compatible with both the supplied rechargeable hybrid battery (1.25 Ah/4.75 Wh) and standard 3xAA batteries. All models in the Silva Scout 3 series are equipped with Hybrid technology, which means that the battery compartment is compatible with both the supplied rechargeable Silva hybrid battery and standard AAA batteries. This gives you the flexibility to use your headlamp for many different activities. SILVA INTELLIGENT LIGHT The Scout 3XTH is equipped with Silva Intelligent Light, a unique combination of a wide beam and a near beam. This means less head movement and a clear view of near and distant obstacles: so you always have the balance and safety you need."
