• 950+ LOFT ULTRA-DRY DOWN

  The highest fill power in all Sea to Summit sleeping bags and quilts. 950+ Fill Power means that one ounce (30 g) of down expands to over 950 cubic inches after compression. A higher loft means that less down can be used to achieve the same temperature value - important for high-performance sleeping bags. The loft and quality/composition of the down is independently tested by the International Down and Feather Laboratory (IDFL) - a copy of the certificate is supplied with every Sea to Summit sleeping bag. The down is responsibly sourced, RDS certified and treated with our PFC-free Ultra-Dry Down™ treatment.

• RESPONSIBLE DOWN STANDARD (RDS)

  "100% of the down used in our sleeping bags and quilts is independently certified according to the Responsible Down Standard (RDS). The RDS certifies down according to animal welfare requirements and tracks it from source to end product. Purchasing RDS certified products demonstrates the demand for better animal welfare practices in the down and feather supply chain."

• "Without PFAS"

  "Sea to Summit sleeping bag fabric and insulation are made without PFAS compounds. The PFAS-free DWR coating on the outer shell prevents the insulation from becoming damp if the sleeping bag comes into contact with moisture, e.g. through condensation on the tent wall. Ultra-Dry Down is a PFAS-free hydrophobic treatment that absorbs less moisture and dries faster. It does not affect the breathability or lifespan of the down and lasts for at least 20 weeks. The down used in our sleeping bags comes from responsible sources."
