The 3-layer jacket by Schöffel with the Dermizax®NX Ripstop membrane is both ultra-light and comfortable. It combines performance and lightness. If the jacket happens to get damaged on the mountain, the Ripstop structure prevents further tearing. Plus the mountaineering jacket is brilliantly waterproof and windproof as well as tremendously breathable thanks to the Dermizax®NX membrane and the bonded seams, since the pores open with any movement and air is better able to circulate. There is also the option of regulating the underarm ventilation using zips for additional circulation. The easy-to-adjust hood fits over a helmet. Furthermore, the chest pockets are perfectly positioned, and the wearer can access them with either hand even on a narrow ridge walk.
