The Ribelle Run Kalibra G from Scarpa is the ideal companion for demanding outdooractivities such as speed hiking, running and hiking. This unisex trail running shoe has been specially developed for use on mixed terrain and in extreme conditions. Its waterproof construction offers optimum protection in cold, snow and mud, making it ideal for winter adventures in technically demanding mountain terrain.
Thanks to the innovative Wrap360 lacing system and the Polartec® Windbloc® gaiter, the boot guarantees an excellent fit and stability. The robust EVA HCF midsole provides excellent cushioning and comfort, while the 4mm drop supports a natural running motion. The ARSF last also offers an optimal balance between flexibility and support.
The high tread depth of the sole ensures a secure grip on soft and slippery surfaces, making the Ribelle Run Kalibra G ideal not only for mid-distance training, but also for longer trekking tours. The Wrap360 lacing system was developed together with BOA® and allows the foot to be completely wrapped without any pressure points. At the heart of this system is the BOA® Fit System with the Li2 dial, which offers a precise, micro-adjustable fit in both directions and improves stability and control in technical terrain.

Materials:

External material: The inner upper, which houses the lacing system, is made of lightweight and breathable mesh reinforced by a microfiber structure and a TPU film. Provided with TPU edge that wraps and protects the entire shoe.

Outsole:

PRESA® TRN-04 is a sole for technical trails where grip and precision are essential. 5 mm deep lugs designed for maximum performance on snow and mud are the most important aspect of the sole design. The sole compound is SUPERGUM W, which is very powerful in winter and guarantees grip on icy terrain and snow.

Technologies and manufacturing processes

KALIBRA GAITER
Maximum protection against wind, rain and low temperatures as well as breathability. The weatherproof gaiter is made from an innovative Polartec® PowerShield® membrane, which is partly made from environmentally friendly materials. The gaiter is closed with a water-repellent zipper and a Velcro fastener. Its special shape protects against abrasion and thus extends the durability of the boot. In addition, a number of reflective details guarantee visibility in the dark.
EXO
Upper construction system developed by SCARPA to better protect and support the foot. Lateral protection devices (inserts or heat embossing) are combined here with the upper materialeral and thus together form an exoskeleton.
Presa
Presa® - SCARPA ultimate result of internal research and development on the subject of the sole. Because technological innovation is born in an environment where experience and scientific research merge. Each Presa® sole is developed with the constant thought of the context of use and the corresponding activity for which the shoe is designed. The measurement of key performance indicators (including grip on dry and wet surfaces and resistance) is crucial to the selection of the best sole.
