External material: Suede leather without additional treatment. Two counter-rotating Velco straps allow an individual adjustment to the foot.

Inside/Midsole:

3/4 length nylon 1.4mm insert from heel to toe helps distribute force throughout the foot.

Outsole:

4mm Vision rubber provides the best balance between friction and durability.

Active Randing
The Bi-Tension Active Randing System is a tensioned rubber that extends backwards on both sides of the shoe to the heel. It keeps the tension under the toes right into the arch of the foot and promises maximum flexibility and optimum resilience.
PAF
The PAF (Pressure-Absorbing-Fit) system is an innovative system that distributes heel tension while improving fit at the heel. The strong tension band is interrupted behind the heel to reduce pressure on the Achilles tendon. There, it is connected to a softer rubber that acts like a "bridge" and allows for a full fit to the individual heel shape. The holes at the top of the PAF act as indicators to tell you how much tension/support you have. 1-hole for light tension, 2-hole for medium tension, 3-hole for heavy tension.
RESOLEABLE
This shoe can be resoled at an official SCARPA dealer. Repair your shoe before it is too damaged. Find your dealer in the dealer locator.
